Overall cute story. Loved Noah. Hated Lily. He was a genuine sweetheart and a good man. She was a childish and impulsive brat. I really enjoy second chance novels and really liked this one. However, I would like to say Noah shouldn't have given her a first chance, let alone a second. Seems like their breakup after three years of being together was just one of her hasty moves. She truly does not think things through. They've been broken up for three months when they find they will be working on the remodel of the same cabin. He is an architect and she is an interior designer. Mrs. Upton sure is a piece of work, too. Goodness that woman was hideous! What a beautiful feel good story. My only complaint, I wish it was longer. Maybe a second book? Haha a girl can dream right?
Anyway, I loved Lily and Noah. The is story is very real and I could totally relate to, how easily things get out of hand when you walk in and see something but don't know all the details. The chemistry between the two of them was so hot hot hot and I was cheering for them to get their past behind them and move on.
Overall, an awesome way to spend the morning!
Can't wait to read more by Ms. Lee.
